Gecko Quilts Depression Prevention Special Take 2
Starting
1/9/12 - 11/16/12 customers choosing any of the
"Super Economy Pantos" will be paying $50 for any quilts up to size 90" X 90"
(or 8100 sq inch), and $100 for any quilts larger than 90" X 90" & up to 110" X
114". This was a very popular promo, but now it has been improved with the
additional pantos to choose from.

Any bed size quilt tops 70" X 90" (or 6300 sq inches)
and up will receive a $25.00 discount no matter what pantograph pattern you
choose or what category you choose from. Must drop quilt top off by 11/18/11.
Gecko Quilts Blog Follower Promotion 2011
If you sign up as a
follower to one or both of my blogs (links to my blogs can be found in the
quilting links section of this website) I will offer the Circle Lord Square
Dance template design for the super economy price of .0125 per sq inch instead
of the .015 price per sq inch. The Circle Lord Square Dance template design is a
new design that is in the light density patterns. Offer good only until Nov. 18,

The Depression Prevention Special
is now officially over.
New quilting prices will be coming
January 1, 2010
- As of January 1, 2010 the
prices for the quilting services will be going up per sq in. for the Basic
Light Density Pantos, Basic Medium Density Pantos, & Basic High Density
Pantos. The Depression Prevention Special will continue until the DOW gets
back to the 10,000 mark and the Quilter's Dozen will also continue.
Quilters Dozen Mailers Being Sent
Out in October, 2009:
- In October 2009 The Quilters Dozen
update cards will be sent out to existing customers. These cards will inform
you how many quilts you have towards your quilters dozen promotion (1 free
light- medium density quilting service when 12 quilts have been brought to Gecko Quilts).
Update on "Depression Prevention
Special" October 10, 2009:
- As of October 10, 2009 "Depression Prevention Special"
Will be updated to reflect the following: $50 for any quilts that are
up to 90" x 90" (8,100 sq ins) and $100 for any quilts larger than
8,100 sq ins. up to 110" x 114" (12,540 sq ins.) and will continue to run
until the DOW Jones Industrial Average again closes above 10,000 points. The
reason for the change is due to 2 large price increases on thread in the
past year and me no longer able to absorb the increase.
New Pantographs Added July, 2009:
- New pantographs have been
added to all 3 levels of quilting services and some pantographs have been
discontinued. Be sure to look them over.
New Services Added July, 2009:
- New services are being
added based on need and request. Services out of need will be the service of
squaring up quilt backs and battings. An increasing amount are being dropped
off either unsquare or larger than the "8 inches larger than the quilt top"
requirement causing difficulty in quilting and achieving the proper tension
for quilting. Service by request is the trimming of the quilt once the quilt
is quilted. This services was done in the past as a freebie but due to the
high cost of replacing rotary blades will now be done for a small fee.
New Promotion Added October 10, 2008:
- "Depression Prevention Special"
We are discounting our quilting services for any quilt top up to a king size
quilt (110 in. x 114 in.), with a single thread color, and utilizing the
“Inkblot” pantograph pattern only for the unheard of price of $50
(35% -70% savings). Starting October 10, 2008 and running until the DOW
Jones Industrial Average again closes above 10,000 points.

- By the end of March 2008 Quilters Dozen
update cards will be sent out to existing customers. These cards will inform
you how many quilts you have towards your quilters dozen promotion (1 free
quilting service when 12 quilts have been brought to Gecko Quilts).
- Also be sure to hang onto the "Gecko Quilts
Coupon Dollars" card and bring it with you the next time you bring a twin
size quilt or larger for quilting.
New Promotion Added
- "Gecko Quilts Coupon Dollars" these are
coupons sent out to existing customers in various mailers
from time to time. Check out the promotions and discounts page on this
website for full details. It is sure to put a smile on many faces.
Web Changes
- As of November 1, 2007 Gecko Quilts
will no longer be offering quilt backs for sale. So Gecko Quilts can
continue to keep costs down.
- As of January 1, 2008 Gecko Quilts
will no longer be offering batting for sale. So Gecko Quilts can
continue to keep costs down.
- As of January 1, 2008 Gecko Quilts
will be re-organizing the pricing for pantographs/ edge to edge designs
by breaking them down into 3 categories, light density (L x W x .0125),
medium density (L x W x .015), and heavy density (L x W x .0175).
- This will allow the customer to have more
control over what they spend by the designs they pick.
- The Quilter's Dozen promotion will
continue in 2008.
